Jim currently serves as a financial advisor for small business owners, individuals, and families, providing fee-based investment management, retirement planning, 401(k) lump-sum rollovers, lifetime income solutions, and life insurance management. He is also a retirement plan specialist for non-profits (403b's) and small to mid-size businesses (401k's, SIMPLE's, SEP's, etc.) in western Pennsylvania, southern New York, and eastern Ohio.
Jim graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has 18 years of experience as an Advisor. He has earned a number of securities registrations including series 7 (General Securities Representative), 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative), 24 (General Securities Principal), 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser), and 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State) held with LPL Financial. He also has life, fixed and variable annuity insurance licenses.
Jim has achieved two certifications: Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) from the College for Financial Planning; and Chartered Wealth Advisor (CWA®) from the Academy of Multidisciplinary Practice through the Estate and Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University.
Jim is a life long resident of Erie, Pennsylvania, along with his wife Teresa and three children, Leah, Noah, Isaiah, and a black Border-Collie dog name Tatum (that’s Raider Jack Tatum!).
